If you enjoyed the ice ornaments we posted on yesterday, here's a more colorful version- same idea:
Over at Two Chicks and a Hen they threw some color into the mix and created an ice bunting. Jaimie and her hens used different sizes and shapes to mold the ice- first adding different colors to the water and giving it a stir.
She admits hanging them afterwards is a bit time intensive and something you'll have to do, but if you braid some strong yarn, you'll have a great result that will look especially lovely with the sun shining through it.

Thanks so much for featuring our project! It was a lot of fun, and I'm happy to say that it's still holding up quite nicely--I can see it out the window right now.
I'd like to point out that while the label above the photo says "Two Hens and a Chick," my blog is actually "Two Chicks and a Hen" :).
Jaimie
Jaimie - thanks! I'm on it and will change it right now, sorry!
That's so charming I almost wish it got cold enough where I live to have ice. Almost.
The only problem with this is that they look delicious and I will want to eat them.
