These daybed designs aren't necessarily made for use outdoors, but their materials and style lend them a breezy outdoor style...
The top photo is of the Mandalay Daybed at Williams-Sonoma Home. The basket weave rattan gives it a natural warmth while its rectilinear shape keeps things modern. Price: $299
The Taru Daybed from Z Gallerie has caned back and sides. Its canopy manages to make a simple piece of furnishing into a semi-private retreat. $799
This is the Solitude daybed by Padma's Plantation. It's a bamboo, four poster daybed that, much like the Taru above, begs for wispy linens draped over its posts. We love the feeling created by this bed with the sheers in the photo at left. Price: around $2,000
The first two designs specify that they fit standard twin size mattresses. While we didn't confirm that for the third design from Padma's Plantation, its dimensions lead us to think the standard mattress would work with it, as well.

Um - That WSHome Daybed is no longer available...
...and it's the daybed cover - not the piece of furniture that is $299. (The daybed was significantly more - in the $2000 range as I recall)
...and I'd be wary of ordering anything from ZGallerie since they've recently declaired Bankruptcy.
FYI. According to the web site, the WS price is for the daybed cover and the daybed isn't available.
