Seems like you could do the exact same thing with Ikea kitchen railing and accessories.
Actually aliza, that totally uses IKEA kitchen railings. I was thinking of doing the same thing myself, but went with baskets and chains. Pics to follow...

This is lovely, but I fear that flowers like ranunculus would require more sun than most apartment windows would provide.
I like it. If I didn't have floor to ceiling windows, I would sure incorporate it in my decor. I guess the same thing would also work on patio walls or fences if you wanted to stagger some plant heights.

I want to do this on my bedroom door (with like 10 Kroken rails), but I was stuck on how the pots would drain.
Any solutions?

Cashba, you could do a pot-within-a pot. Put your plants in pots slightly smaller than the containers that will hang from the rails. These pots should have nice drainage holes. To prevent your roots from sitting in water, place a layer of small stones at the bottom of the hanging containers, and then put the potted plants inside the hanging containers. You can just pour out any excess water that drips down into the larger pot.
