While the other AT cities ring in summer this month by bringing Home outside, we've got a more subtle blogging challenge here in SF. Our unusual summer weather means that for us, the month of June is really about finding ways to defy the cold and the fog in order to persist in our nearly
year-round habit of outdoor living. All around us, folks are firing up their
chimneas, dining under heat lamps and tilting windows to bring the outside in instead of the other way around.
Help us out here: share your favorite tricks, resources, and tips for Inside/Outside Living--or better yet, show us with pictures!

Don't get me wrong -- I absolutely LOVE AT:SF. But sometimes I wish you'd remember that not all of your readers live in the Outer Richmond or other fog-belt areas of San Francisco.
Over here in Oakland, for instance, it's sunny and balmy almost all summer -- just as it is in the rest of the East Bay, most of Marin and the Peninsula, the South Bay, and even certified San Francisco neighborhoods like Potrero Hill and the Mission.
For us, summer living is a simple matter of opening the door and going outside.
Enjoying the sun in Oakland,
Leah
Leah,
Point well-taken! (We were in fact in Oakland on Saturday, enjoying the warm summery weather. And then it got nice here in SF, too. So go figure.) We'll be blogging the warm-weather options without reserve, keeping all of our neighbors (and neighborhoods) in mind.
