We're used to seeing driftwood displayed in people's homes - maybe a small piece here and there on a shelf or in a garden. But what about really making a statement with an oversized arrangement like the one pictured here?...
We think a large driftwood display like this would work best in an otherwise minimal, streamlined space (as shown in the photo). It's a great way to show off a collection, bring a little organic touch inside, and create a high-impact visual anchor within the room.

I LOVE this. It's a nice way to bring nature inside, without having something to water (and potentially kill with a black thumb).
It's dramatic but it overwhelms the space, and dare I say, kind of ugly.

Too much of a good thing. And it would work better in a room filled with natural wood and fibers instead of black leather. I would love to get my hands on this room and redo it...
I have no idea why, but it makes me sad. Think I'd need some deep psychoanalysis to understand why.
I love the idea, and driftwood in general, but I think this arrangement is a bit overwhelming. I know I personally tend to be more afraid than I should of large, dramatic pieces...but maybe in this case, less is more.
I think fewer pieces would still give the natural effect, without adding that scary touch. We have one huge, smooth driftwood log hanging horizontally on our screened-in porch, as well as 2 slimmer pieces leaning in a corner and a large piece cut into logs in our (non-functional) fireplace...similar idea but not as overwhelming.
It's beautiful. I would rather see this than another piece of furniture painted blue. Really. Please don't start painting driftwood blue now.
You should put a light under that driftwood.
It looks somewhat creepy to me.
It reminds me of the hands of that poor guy in Indonesia with the massive warts that made his hands and feet look like trees...
I'd love it so much more if it were a huge green plant. It's too much like a dead tree (pretty much is) as the focal point in the room.

THIS IS PERFECT. I used a bunch or ceiling height birch trunks in a floor vase as an accent in a friend's apartment, but I like this MUCH BETTER!!
I absolutely love this driftwood. It looks so different and unique---I am a big fan of floor pots/vases---looks perfect!
I love it. It has movement in it. It reminds me of the ocean, of waves, of breezes. It's beautiful.
Seeing this much, and the size, of driftwood in one spot is impressive by itself. I'm not overly fond of driftwood, but this turned out really stunning.
It kind of looks like a scary branch tapping at your window turned into a Christmas tree. I don't like it at all.
