Why are owls so popular in children's decor? It may owe to their nocturnal nature being, unfortunately, aligned with that of new parents. It's true that owls may be a bit overdone these days, but I spotted a beautiful owl lamp in a shop window this morning while dropping my son at school and have had them on the brain all day.
Above are ten owl lamps to check out. Many are softly glowing nightlights especially suited for children's rooms. The last two are vintage owl lamps on eBay - of which there are many - and are good reminders to keep an eye out at thrift shops and garage sales. If they have a nice shape, but garish colors, you can always paint them white.

I would buy a marmoset lamp in a heartbeat. I really would.
These are nice. I do wish there were budget-friendly options (barring eBay.)
we have the west elm one, and put huge googly eyes on it. it looks awesome now :)
We bought one at target for $35. I plan on changing out the shade, but the lamp is cute.
