Besides making sure we've packed enough outfits for social and business occasions, double-checking our flight info, and verifying accommodations, a great deal of energy and attention is spent making sure our tech devices and services are also ready for any trip away from home. From killing an 8 hour layover at an airport, to blocking out sounds while onboard a flight, to making sure you've got all your chargers for the myriad of devices you might be hauling here to there, there's plenty to worry about these days besides making sure you remembered toothpaste and matching socks!

You make it sound like technology is more of a hindrance than a help, which is ironic given that it is meant it make life easier. Before all of the tech devices, I guess there was less to think about when arranging a trip, although the journeys were probably a bit less comfortable!
The Packing Pro app isn't that great. I've got it, but found that Evernote is just as easy. Packing Pro just doesn't have enough of a WOW factor for me to use over Evernote. Plus I am limited to using it only on my iPhone.
