Dark, moody teal. While it might not be your first thought for a kitchen, it sure does work. Pair it with some warm wood accents and you have yourself a cozy room.

Commercial Flour Sa...
Oooh. 2 & 5. I love teal!
Thanks for the suggested paint colors.
My living room is Benjamin Moore Blue Spa (not pictured above, but similar to 3 and 8) and I love it!
I've been looking for a teal rug for so long, Maybe something in the 5 (stained glass) to 6 (baltic sea) range. Any suggestions where to look?
And that third photo makes me swoon. :s
Teal is the color of sadness... it must be stopped.
i love teal. 1, 2, and 5 are fantastic.
I love being sad.
That last photo with the red pots- perfect! Although I agree that it's a little dark, I think I might be better with one wall in teal and the rest of the room white.
I'm thinking about painting my basement stairs teal, that photo gives me some ideas about using red carpet strips to prevent slipping...hmmm
love the "dark, moody teal" - not teal has I have known it - thanks for expanding my color horizons. Very nice . . . .
I am so enamored with teal right now. I just painted my powder room a deep teal and hung some framed prints on it. It feels so much more sophisticated than it did when it was a cheery white.
Number 1 is beautiful, although any colour would look good in that space.
pretty colors, really unappetizing. there's no teal food. greens, reds, yellows, oranges, even some purple...room 5 tried to incorporate red and green, but i think it's a stretch.
Any idea where the sink in 5 came from? It's amazing!
1 and 4. LOVE the dark, moody blues with the warm, cozy wood tones!
I dislike the color blue, though Teal/Turquoise is marginally acceptable. So I'll pass on this trend, thanks!
Why was the title of this piece "pale blue bathrooms"? When I clicked on it, all these photos of kitchens appeared! And they dark blue, not pale.
At esausville, once upon a time, all sinks looked like that! I think it's fairly easy to find one now, as they have come back into vogue. You might try a Habitat for Humanity resale shop, if there is one in your town.
It's called a double drainboard sink with a pedestal. These sinks were popular in the 1900's to the 1940's. They are great sinks you can often find them used on Craig's list, at salvage yards and DEA bath. Best of luck.
