Love 2&3!
Love the subtle tones of #13 paired with the bright ceiling.
My vote for the orange one!
6 & 13!
My favourite floor has to be the compass followed by number 4.
some of these feel SOooo 1990s coffee shop.
Love all of 'em.
My question: What is the best surface to paint?
I live with a raw plywood floor in my living room, too rough and uneven to paint. Maybe a surface we could paint would let us get out of this floor hell -- so I'd love some suggestions from the AT fans.
LOVE the first shot!
13 is great. I painted our upstairs wood floors white with the intention of doing something interesting in the guest rooms, but alas, analysis paralysis has set in and I can't make a decision about color or pattern!
I love this one: http://kathypeterson.com/wordpress/?p=71

Anyone know if modern rolled vinyl kitchen flooring would take paint?
When we purchased our house it had cheap laminate flooring that was just wretched. We replaced the first floor flooring but hit a financial tight-spot before replacing the laminate steps. In the meantime, I primed them, painted them my color of choice in flat latex and then coated them with two coats of clear water-base satin polyurethane. It worked perfectly and has help up fantastically.
I really do LOVE a painted floor. Thanks again for another great post and lots inspiration!
Nevermind, the internet answered me! Totally painting that sucker.
love!
I love the look of painted floors but not the feel :)
Love the compass and number 3...
I adore the compass.
I am now wondering what my landlady would think if I did that in our kitchen. We have a tiny kitchen with a very scrappy looking wood floor painted white, and it needs a repaint. The perfect excuse....?
