We at AT:SF have been on a bit of a yellow mirror kick lately, and here's the latest edition, courtesy of our weekend painting bonanza.

We would have liked to include a "before" shot, but unfortunately we usually remember such things when we're midway to the "after." Though we can tell you that the original mirror was a dark walnut-colored wood, and took about three coats to cover properly. The color now - Yolk from Benjamin Moore - has a slight green tint to it, which we are very into. Let us know what you think.

Love it - I have been wanting to paint my large mirror yellow. You sold me!
Very cute!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one in love with yellow. I painted my bedroom yellow, and the laundry room is next.
Was that an Ikea mirror? I was looking at one that had a ledge like that a few weeks ago.
Did you use a primer under the yellow, or just go directly to paint? And did you take the mirror out of the frame, or just tape it off really well?
I thought it was just me...
I bought TWO yellow mirrors at a flea market last weekend.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I hate yellow. Cool idea tho.
This is nice and the style of the mirror and the yellow give it a totally 70's mod look, of which I tend to like along with MCM.
I'm no huge fan of yellow, but it fits into your decor wonderfully! And where did the mirror come from? I'd love to have one myself.
excellent color
Yellow and orange are my new favorite decorating colors. I hope I don't hate it in a year!
I want the mirror. Other than the West Elm one, which is too expensive, where can I find a deep mirror like that?
