Notice the resurrection of scene-stealing wallpaper lately?
Add hand drawn and painted designs by PalacePapers
to the mix and we're all eyes. Designer Casey Gunschel finds inspiration in various natural environments, antique maps, botany, and fable illustrations, all of which she translates into an intricate repetition fit for your walls.
Gunschel's background in theatrical design and fine art really stands out. She creates both lighthearted looks such as Carnavale (right), complete with sweet pink creatures, and dramatic designs like Nevermore, an obvious ode to Poe.
You can find her wallpaper designs at the interior design showroom Urban Source in Chicago.
