Mugs are one of those things that seem to reproduce in dark corners in the cupboard — at home or in the office — and it seems there is never a shortage of these essential drinking vessels. Of course, not all mugs are created equal, but there is definitely a mug out there to celebrate any aspect of your personality. For those of us invested in home design, what better option could there be than these bright mugs celebrating a selection of popular Pantone colors?

These white china mugs highlighting individual Pantone colors are both dishwasher and microwave safe. They are available from a variety of retailers in sets of 10 ($125 per set) or you can select individual colors favorites ($15 each) to build your own collection. For renters who can't paint, these mugs might help satisfy your color desires, or at least help you select the perfect shade for your next home!

I have set of these and always get compliments. They are super fun.
Is this a recycled post? I thought I commented on the pantone mug post last year...?

At that time, they were available in the UK, and through Fish Eddy's -- the words "Fish Eddy" linked to a 2006 post that no longer exists.
Oh, sorry. Found the 2006 post:

Love the pantonse, have a couple of my own. (Wish i had the set, of course). But I did just get this great mug I recently came across - www.worldsbestmug.com
Arrgggh! Flashback to the early 80's, when I lived with a Pantone swatch book while employed making old school mechanical art. Little bits of Amberlith would stick to my flesh in the strangest places! Thank the Great Cosmic Muffin for decent prepress software.
Hiya! I have one of these, and want more, but I notice that they now say Pantone UNIVERSE on them. Hmm. Not a big fan of the 'universe' part. Any idea if they're still available with just the original "Pantone" on them?
YAY! I love these! I have the red one! They're suuuper cute! The only negative comment I'd have to say is when I was picking mine out from a shop in NYC several years ago, I remember seeing a lot of mugs w/ defects... The color wasn't uniform. I had to look through all of the stock on the shelves to find a mug w/o a "bald spot." Just to be safe, I'd recommend buying them in person.
