To Pantone your stairs, they suggest using small tester pots to paint the stairs and copying the Pantone logo with Illustrator for the full effect.

I feel like we've seen these on here a few times already.
yep, this has been posted a few times
true and the first time it was a cool concept but now it is pretty tired. I have seen it in a couple of installations in the last few years.
I have noticed a lot of "re-posts" of late.
How is it that the writers can't remember what's posted to this site when the readers can?
well, re-post or not, i find stuff like that fun for a short while, but having it in my house for real would get on my nerves very soon. i am not really fond of gags i am exposed to continuously.
While I have seen this before...
I must ask, is the color on the fifth stair from the bottom "clear?" Because you can definitely see all the wood grain.
UWSretreat: Easy. Just start a blog, promise new concepts and ideas every hour or so, and invite roughly a few hundred thousand catty and bitter people commenting on how inadequate you are for not having ideas that are good enough. That's like asking how the referee can't see everything that happens in the court if the spectators clearly can.
As for the stairs: I don't get the mugs, and I don't get the stairs. It's a swatch of color with some writing next to it.
I wonder if most people read all the regional posts, rather than their own city. The concept of regions is neat, but it does lend to duplication. I don't mind duplication, personally -- I mean, so what? who does it hurt? and isn't this blog free? I find it more annoying to see the bitching. It's new to someone.
This idea is new to me although I can imagine some friends and family gently telling me that I left the labels on my stairs.
Yeah, valleyval is right. The colors by themselves are really nice though.
Yeah, 3 times isn't optimal, but funnily enough, I didn't see it either of those times.
