pngreek4.jpgSummer is over and Marie Claire Maison taunts us with images of Italian designer Paola Navone's Greek island getaway, perched over the Aegean in the Cyclades...

The view outside is dominated by blue sky and sea, the inside is as tranquil and thrilling as its otherworldly setting. The palette of the house is a cloud of white, brought down to earth with the designer's own dramatic objects imported from Italy as well as pieces found in local flea markets, like the kids chairs in the kitchen and dining room. Marie Claire calls it "an exercise in modern Greek." I call it paradise.
