Summer is over and Marie Claire Maison taunts us with images of Italian designer Paola Navone's Greek island getaway, perched over the Aegean in the Cyclades...

The view outside is dominated by blue sky and sea, the inside is as tranquil and thrilling as its otherworldly setting. The palette of the house is a cloud of white, brought down to earth with the designer's own dramatic objects imported from Italy as well as pieces found in local flea markets, like the kids chairs in the kitchen and dining room. Marie Claire calls it "an exercise in modern Greek." I call it paradise.

beautiful...love the painted 'rug' and the bedside lighting but the chairs at the table in the first picture seem much too low...
Enamorada,
The chairs in the first picture are vintage kids chairs. I guess the photographer must have pulled them up to the table for the picture.
love it!
Lovely. I usually buy this magazine. I can save space by looking at them on line. Thanks.
Heavenly.
Can it be rented out as a vacation spot?
