Last minute? This looks like it would take *several* minutes to cobble together.
If you're that desperate, and that short of time, and you don't own an actual tablecloth (?), why not just throw a bedsheet on the table?
I wouldn't use this idea as a "last minute" fix...it looks like it would take at least an hour to fasten all those doilies together. But it is a cute idea.
I like it, but I think it would get stepped on and ripped.
Looks like a bunch of paper doilies had to be stapled together because someone forgot to order the tablecloth from Raphael's.

I think it's cute as a table runner, but it's a bit overwhelming as a whole table cloth. I agree, it's TERRIBLE hanging down and running on the floor.

I think taking an hour to staple some dollar store doilies together to make a cute tablecloth is cheaper and faster than going out to buy one! I don't want to ruin my bedsheets with food stains, either.
No matter what you do to them, they're still doilies..and I will still think of 80-year-old grannies everytime I see them.
