Whenever I've got cards or invitations to send, I love to while away time at Paper Source, picking out stationery from their vast array of colors, but it's never occurred to me to wonder why, among all the blues, I'm drawn to Lake instead of Pool, or Moss instead of Sage on the green shelf. Well lucky for me, Paper Source has created the Colorscope, a silly online tool that will teach you what your color preferences say about your personality...

Bet you didn't know that chartreuse lovers explore the inner meaning of life, and that those who prefer butter yellow are cheerful team players. If you like the bluish-green shade of "jadeite," chances are you need a great deal of security. And if black is your color of choice, well of course you're a very serious overachiever.
It's not exactly clear what authority Paper Source has consulted to supply the Colorscope info—maybe they've got a psychic on the payroll?—but hey, it's a fun way to pass a little downtime at work. And anyway, it might actually be interesting to consider the colors in your home and what they express about you. What do you think? Is there anything to the idea that our color preferences can help us learn about ourselves?
To get to the bottom of your own color choices, visit the Colorscope on the Paper Source web site.

That's pretty cool and surprisinly accurate for me. Even my second favorite colors were partially right.
What does it mean if I don't have a favorite color?
This is just like a fortune cookie--every one of them could apply to anyone.
@lise1914, not me! Sage was pretty close, so was gravel, but Poppy was right out. It talks about being a party girl and choosing unusual clothes. I hate parties and dress really conservatively, no matter how much I wish it was not the cases. Maybe I should call poppy my aspirational color?
wow-- dead on!!!
Ooh, my new favorite toy! Who cares if it's not "real"? I love to look at colors and names of colors! I'm a color-holic. Oh, and my favs are chartreuse, coral, fuschia, and indigo. Mmm..just the names themselves are so lovely!
I'm a flirt because I love sage ??
Come on !
I think you meant "wile away" which means to spend or pass time as opposed to "while away" which means during the time you were gone.
They're all just generic flattery. It would be more entertaining if they mixed in some negative ones.
Fuchsia. You imagine yourself as vibrant and passionate but others find you to be an emotionally draining drama queen. Your obsession with past failures will prevent you from doing anything meaningful with your life.
