We once found, stashed in our mother's desk, a pre-school report card in which the teacher noted that we were the only student in the class who didn't know how to use scissors. We imagine Elsa Mora got a better start with scissors than we did.

Everything Elsa Mora creates is magical (remember these?) and we're especially in love with her papercuts. She does sell the originals but these time-consuming beauties are understandably expensive. However you can enjoy her art in your home with prints of her work. These classic fairy tale mini-prints measure 4" x 6" making them simple to frame and only cost $7.

Larger prints (8.5"x 11"), like Bird Mask above, are $25.

In addition to papercuts, she has many prints of her paintings for sale. It's all in her shop. We also highly recommend her blog, Elsita, a regular read of ours, and her new blog-within-a-blog, The Heart of Papercuts.
