I cringe to think of the wasted paper from years upon years of calendar purchases. Sure, you can reuse the pages to wrap gifts or cover notebook, and yes, recycle them in the end. But what about getting a 50-years paperless date-indicator instead, like one of these?
Perpetual calendars like this 50 year model have been around for ages, but are typically relegated to the "gift for Dad" department. Small in size, this calendar adds an attractive, functional element to your desktop. No batteries, no deforestation! Sure, you will have to sacrifice the act of circling – but there are enough digital calendars available to keep you organized without the paper waste. Plus, it makes a great conversation piece ("My 70th birthday is on a Saturday? Awesome!")

"there are enough digital calendars out there to keep you organized without the paper waste anyways."
Wouldn't that be an equally valid argument against this? :)
that thing is hideous.
calendars are beautiful bits of art.
i think that's settled.
I have a rather old 40-something year calendar thats placed on a wood trinket box that I adore. I was beginning to worry what I would do once it became obsolete so thank you!
I dislike the normal paper calendars. They just seem cheap and tacky, even if they have beautiful pictures. But like Sam I Am stated, for any actual calendar needs beside aesthetics I rely on digital ones.
My mom has one of these and while I thought it was super neat growing up, we never remembered to change it each month and it's easily swiveled to the next month if you move it. It's also really tiny so it can be hard to read.
