$300 for a 2' section? Unless this is packed along with a crack pipe, I think I'll pass.
hejiranyc..you are hilarious and I'm in total agreement with you. I just don't get why eco-friendly products have to be so ridiculously expensive...one would think that without the added expense of chemicals manufacturers would sell their products for the same or a bit less than the chemical-laced shait out there (forgive my language)
I think the pricing for eco-friendly products is similar to "well designed" products....priced high so only certain segments of society can be chic.
Maybe its just me, but $300 for a room divider doesn't seem that outrageous. Any product that can add architectural interest to a rental and cost about the same as a small Flor area rug gets a thumbs up from me.
Guys, 3-Form offers their offcuts in various sizes for quite a bit less. So if you don't need the entire 4x8 sheet of material, usually you can find something that will work for quite a bit cheaper. I've used their stuff in the past for various projects where a $400 sheet of resin was out of the question.
And coco....sometimes eco products cost more because the base materials cost more, and you just can't do much about that.
Brian K.: Do you know if the partitions they offer on 3forms regular site is similar in pricing? Is it available for non-commercial use? I've been trying to get hold of the 3form contact for my region with pricing questions to no avail.
I don't quite understand the concept of the parametre line. The pics annoy me. I can't get a sense of realism or environment out those superimposed, colorized, computer-generated images. Surely they can merchandise better than that. Are they made out of Resin? Because they look like they're made out of Tyvek.

The prices are fairly high. Expect the price to be between $200 and $400 for a sheet of 4x8, depending on the thickness. Here's the link to the "Reclaim" section, where you can by half and quarter sheets.

For instance, they've got a sheet of some bamboo resin, in a 2'x4' piece, in a half inch thickness for $133. Not too bad, and 1/2" resin is BEEFY stuff. Much thicker than most people would want. 1/4" is as thick as a I go because I just don't need huge stuff. 1/2" could make a nice table top though.
