They're talking about artist Elinor Carucci's intimate photographic series, "My Children" and how it's OK to pick your child's nose (c'mon, we all know the bulb aspirator isn't so handy) over at Daddy Types.

"What's in your baby's nappy?" Always a fascinating topic for us parents, and one they're explaining over at Baby Expert.

Over at Simple Mom they're talking about why focusing more, not less, on yourself, is better for your children.

Mom Advice is going on a No-Spend Experiment where her family won't spend any extra money for a whole month. We've tried it and failed.

Seriously, that picture is gross.
Totally! I had to scroll past it to keep me from gagging! LOL! Yuck!
Ewwwwww!
I was revolted as well... but as anyone who has cared for kids knows, they ALWAYS have boogers. Thank Jebus I have no children. The ick they produce is enough to scare me sterile.
I know I'm pregnant and everything grosses me out, but that picture seriously almost made me vomit.
Oh for the love of God... I've wiped like 30 of those on many a pair of jeans before. Baby snot so does not count as gross. Cute noses=not so nasty snot, eh?
I checked out some more of her photos and I would hardly call it art, though. She just seems like any mom who wants to hyper-document (which I do, no apologies, but most certainly don't want to share with people and call it art) her child's life.
But how I do love daddytypes...
WOW. Poor picture choice.
I have three sons and well, being grossed out stops when it's your kiddo. :)
Come ON. WTF is with the pic? I have made a bowl with my hands at 4am so my daughter has something to vomit into when we haven't made it to the bathroom in time, but Lizzykewl is right. It only stops being gross when it's your child.
I'm pregnant with my third, so I've seen (and worn) my fair share of baby snot, poop and vomit. It's still a totally nasty picture.
