I'm actually a little bit horrified by some of these. A pretend cell phone for texting? For ages three and up? No thank you.

The only thing I'd buy off that list are the Citiblox.
Agreed. We already have the Citiblox, actually, and frankly, I was disappointed. My three year old plays with them a ton, but they are just little strips of wood you could easily saw and sand in very little time for a fraction of the price. They are fun to play with, but way more expensive than need be.
The automoblox are the only really great thing here. They are a lot of fun, especially the minis. My 3 year old girl loves them and redesign the cars all the time. Everything else just looks like the same old same old plastic junk.
