Mid-Century vintage is everywhere in Paris. This shop is typical of what you will see in the windows of small shops. And vintage trumps new in every case.

Hello,
I just came back from Paris last week (before the riots) and I found a huge collection of vintage furniture at Les Puces (http://www.parispuces.com/). It's a large flea market that's broken up into two areas; the dirty area and the clean area.
The dirty area is where you'll find the knock-off purses and other quality counterfeits. The clean area is literally across the street and has a lot of furniture shops carrying anything from the 17th century to the 80's. Fun.
I picked up an old knocker for my door that was from the 1800's. Also fun.

I just think it is funny that the Eames rcker is pointing towards the wall. I wonder who needed time-out in the corner?
The trees are "PLEACHED". That's the official term for grooming trees, particularly into squared off shapes (as seen in the photo above). Sorry, that's the landscape architect in me coming out.
