It can be a challenge fitting a bed, dresser and playthings into a kid's room and adding a desk might be far down your list. But consider a slim, trim desk like this scaled-down Parsons. Plenty of room for a child to do homework, work on a laptop or write a letter. And if, like me, your office became your child's room, this small footprint desk might be a way to reclaim a little "you space" snuck into a corner of your home.

Nomade Express Slee...
Ok, I understand it has a drawer, and it might be nicer materials, but that looks an awful lot like the Lack.
$200?? Looks remarkably like a $9 Lack to me.
HA! i am going to start saying my Lack is from West Elm!!!
This is a taller desk at 30", but I'd bet you $200 it's still pressboard.
I don't think the Lack is nearly tall enough to be an older kid/adult desk (is it?).
@carrie totally could hack it though, still for under $200
I bet you can add longer legs to a lack maybe even other ikea legs
Well I own it in yellow and I can tell you it is much sturdier than the lack. I think it's fairly priced for the quality.
i thought Lack too! ridiculous price!!!
