But I do realize that there are those out there that may not be in the same situation. There are those select individuals that are more than ready and able to splurge on themselves or others at the holidays. For them, the term "wish list" is less of a "wish" and more of a reality. These are lists for the luxury minded. But what about the rest of us? Well, let's suspend reality for a moment, shall we?

Ercol Bar Stool
If I had endless money, I sure wouldn't buy things I've seen so often that my eyes cry with boredom, classic though they might be.
Woah!! who's buying these gifts? the 1%? Sure I love of all those things but who buys someone a gift for thousands of dollars? no one I know
I swear that something about the angle of the Eames chair in the first pic made me think someone had done a Wall-E mod of their Eames chair. My brain promptly broke.
But yes, fun as I'm sure this was to compile, I agree with Taureg.
This fun daydream material includes some cute things.
love the jewelry box ~ and all the ercolano boxes your link led to at barney's ~ wonder if it will go on sale?
How about we all stop going into debt over xmas gifts and donate our time to rebuilding this country and helping others? Imagine...
funny almost all the things you picked have cheaper high quality knock-offs or you can find the used for less.
I find that when you do have the surplus money to spend it's best to go for custom or unique pieces unless you are going all the way up to investment pieces and then you want the original furniture and not the even licensed currently made versions.
For the actual luxury minded buyer, these choices are pretty low rent and uninspiring.
I don't think I've ever come across a more negative group of commentors on a blog ever. Every time I read this blog, most of the people on it say pretty rude and/or mean things in their comments.
