Party Decor: Retro Pastels for the Holidays

I live in Minnesota and one of the sure signs that the holidays are coming is the snow on the ground. At least that's how it seemed as a child. But for the last several years snow has been a bit more fickle - we have no snow now - and I'm desperately craving snow to help jumpstart the holiday spirit. Maybe that's why this glittery pastel holiday decor is so very inspiring to me.Featured on Style Me Pretty, this gorgeous image is one of many showcasing a glittering, muted holiday decor scheme. The pinks, teals, antiqued golds and silvers look stunning paired with the soft brown craft paper colors. I kind of want to lick it all up, like the sugar on a gum drop.

Meanwhile, I've gathered some inspirational products to create a little bit of this glittery vibe for your own home:

Glittered Baby Polar Bears, $34
DIY Snow Globe
Glittered Faux Deer Head, $169
Gold Polka Dot Tea Pot, $67.74
Turquoise Tinsel Tree, $24
