Even though many states are buried under winter snow, there are still a good portion of us with windows wide open. If that's the case, then a camping party might need to be in your future. It doesn't have to be anyone's birthday - a trail mix snack station is enough to get my vote for a get together!
This party was put together a few years ago by Cari of Social Circles (a "boutique event styling company") as a double birthday celebration for her son and his friend. It features a brown bag lunch station complete with ants on a log, a trail mix buffet (a great alternative to sweets), "hobo" knapsacks and little a-frame tents and faux campfire.
Not only were the decor and food super creative, Cari planned some terrific activities for the kids to do including a nature "hike" to find plastic snakes and bugs, decorating birdhouses and a potato sack race.

I love the theme, and it's very well executed... but does it bug anyone else that "marshmallows" is misspelled?
