Elliot's Fantastic Mr. Fox party inspired me to think about foxes as a party theme. Just thinking about this imaginary party makes me all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. It combines a favorite childhood animal with modern pastels and a hint of faux bois. The options are limitless, but here are a few things to make a birthday party magical.
1. DIY Metal Bunting from The Sweetest Occasion
2. Felt Fox Mask from Her Flying Horses
3. Cupcake Liners from Bakers Bling Shop
4. Riley Blake Plaid Fabric from Sew Deerly Loved
5. Faux Bois Plate from Litabug
6. Happy Birthday Wooden Utensils from Sucre Shop
7. Origami Invitations from Lollipop Designs
8. Playful Fox Fabric from Moona Fabrics
9. Mint Striped Paper Straws from The Stationery Room

getting a 404 error on the Mr. Fox party link. so sad... :(
This is adorable! (Mr. Fox party link now works too... I just clicked it! Yay! Exclamation points!)
'...a hint of faux bois.' Smirk.
Cute! This is a refreshing theme- not your average/run of the mill party!
Very cute. But please don't deny your children colorful things simple because that kind of pastel washed-out look is in style.
I think there's plenty of color here. They might not be all bright primary hues, but this party would surely enchant and entertain little ones. The whole "Where the Wild Things Are" book is based in this same color range, isn't it?
The party box is a fantastic idea to make, and send the grandkids during the year for no particular reason.
so cute... omg so many ideas for my babys 1st birthday... ack! ovewhelming!
