We were perusing the cozy crafts section of Martha Stewart and found this relatively simple project that might be good for a rainy day like today. All you need are a few old sweaters you don't wear anymore. The directions are easy- just arrange the sweater pieces so that the patterns go in different directions and the edges of the sweaters face out to create a natural hem to your blanket. We really like the texture it creates when you use similar colors but different patterns. We're not sure we'd have that many sweaters in a similar color, but if you do- you can create this lovely blanket for baby or yourself.
