Though we're not usually a fan of patchwork, it can be enticing when it is done very well. We have a fondness for Hans Hopfer's Mah Jong sofa from Roche Bobois and a recent fascination with Bertjan Pot's beanbag sofa. Recently, we came across Squint, a design group based in London that does amazing custom patchwork upholstery on a variety of styles of furniture...

Squint Limited was formed when designer Lisa Whatmough wanted to show off her collection of textiles. The custom pieces are not cheap (re-upholstered Egg Chairs, top, start at £3000!) but we thought the collection was wonderfully inspirational. There are tons of pictures of patchwork furniture and accessories on the
Squint Limited site. Via: designmilk.
