In line with our Outdoor month here at Apartment Therapy we were looking for some inspiration on Marie Claire Maison. To our delight they also highlight patios and balconies which is more relevant for city dwellers. We would love to have a garden one day, but for now we will enjoy our balcony. The house where we grew up had a huge garden with a beautiful orchard, vegetable garden, and many flowering plants. We miss having any garden in our current place, so we are known for buying too many plants for our small balcony. It is hard to limit our plant collection and not overcrowd the small space. We also seem to get stuck rescuing plants, so many of our potted friends are in "transition" to become beautiful again. We love the patios from Marie Claire Maison. The lush green areas are our favorite. We can also appreciate the more spare and comfortable set up on a patio. It is perfect for lounging and entertaining outside.
