Pattern Perfect: A Summer Home in Sweden

As much as I love stylish neutral-toned homes, I think it takes a bit more skill to pull off multicolored, multi-patterned decor. The owners of this summer house in Sweden did it with aplomb, creating a space that's chock full of gorgeously layered patterns.

  1. Large-scale art is an unusual, but successful pairing with delicate wallpaper.
  2. Gingham chairs, an ikat couch, and a crystal chandelier create a living room that's both relaxed and glamorous.
  3. Exuberant blue flowers stand out against a half-moon desk and a maroon carpet.
