Just looking at these rooms makes me want to have a child. Nah. not really.
I think painting stripes on the ceiling is kind of genius - the baby spends so much time looking at the ceiling, might as well make it interesting!
We painted stripes on an accent wall in my 5 year old's bedroom a few weeks ago. He's smitten and really enjoys showing it off to friends. Sometimes he'll invite me to come play in there so we can look at the stripes! I love how they turned out too.
when my 35-year old son was a baby, two of the most interesting items in his room were a black/yellow stuffed bumble bee, hanging off the side of his crib, it was about 8" in length. it helped develop his back strength/muscles, because when he was on his tummy, he wanted to prop himself up by his arms to look at that bee. we thought he'd be a beekeeper when he grew up.
he also liked looking at himself in the round mirror on his changing table that was propped up against the wall near his shoulder, as i would change his diapers.

Does anyone know what crib is in photos 3 and 8? I keep seeing it but none of the images ever says who makes it. Thanks!
