Name: Patti
Location: Beaches — Toronto, Ontario, Canada
I think my apartment is the epitomy of small cool. It is a studio apartment with an extremely small footprint — less than 300 square feet. It is all about location and view. My apartment overlooks the famous boardwalk and Lake Ontario in the hip Beaches neighbhourhood in Toronto.
I have matched the watery view outside with a light blue and white colour palette inside and have furnished my space with many mid century modern pieces and personal photographs. You could call it eclectic but my visiting friends call it a sanctuary.
Thanks Patti!

Epitome!
But cute place. Love the color, could use more artwork!
A bachelor at 300sq FT: you must love the beaches! Lol. You've done a fabulous job, though. Cosy, quirky and not cluttered (which is so easy in a bachelor that small). Perhaps a wall shelf or something for more storage. x
Absolutely breathtaking!! Love it!! What is the name of the color of the blue/turquise on the wall? Where did you buy it/what brand did you use? I think that is the color I have been searching all over for!!! Thanks!!!!
OK, thanks!!!!
Why do Canadian house tours always display New York-related items? ;-)
The Beaches!! This is where I grew up!
And you said Beaches, not "The Beach" :)
Great apartment.
Edmarch - Canadians love NYC.
Okay, this looks great but gives me color envy. Some day I am going to go nuts with the turquoise...
Two slender floor-to-ceiling bookcases would resolve your book/magazine storing issues. One of the bookcases could stand by the wall next to your bed window and the other in the corner to the left of your desk (replacing that mini book case). Voila!
Living in Toronto, I imagine that the radiators actually get used for heating. Stacking things on top of and around will make them less efficient - the air cannot circulate past them as easily. Not to mention the whole flamable items next to the heater safety thing.
I have some like these in my condo with about a million coats of paint on them - one day they are coming out for a good stripping to show off how "cool" they can look with the scroll-ey detail on the bare metal.
I like the colors. My kitchen is about one shade lighter.
Dear AT, Please stop putting Toronto under the Chicago listing and give them there own heading already!
I agree Snowdin! Or at the very least, move the Toronto posts to a city that's geographically closer - New York is good 100km closer to Toronto than Chicago is.
