I love the look of maps and globes on any day of the year, and stylist Emily Henderson has a few creative ideas for incorporating them and their mellow colors into your holiday decor.
Red and green, metallic and royal blue they are not, but a map or globe can make for a fun non-traditional holiday accents. The globe snowmen are definitely quirky and unusual, and while the message shown here is seasonal, the stenciled map easily could translate into everyday decor.

my kids and i watched this episode and all agreed it was not for us. too much of everything (which is so for just about every "designer" on hgtv.
however, we loved the vintage map-joy to the world idea.
I really like the Joy to the World map image. I could see this as an everyday, non holiday specific wall piece.
