Are peaked roofs and A-frames the next big thing? This home in the Pyrenees mountains in Canejan, Catalonia, Spain is a modern addition by Cadaval & Sola-Morales architects integrated on an existing stone home.
The windows take advantage of amazing mountain views and let in much more additional light. The furnishings are spare and celebrate the dramatic peaked roof — don't you love the integrated storage units in gray and yellow?

Love the Pyrenees. Amazing views from those windows - perfect!
Everytime my Husband sees an A-fram house in the mountains, he squeels like a little girl. In our area they are used mostly for hunting camps, because they are usually cheaper to build (using mainly roofing material and very little windows or siding).
This home is definantly a few steps above that, lol. It's really beautiful.
I love A-frames almost as much as I love mountains!
Love the openness of the space! Beautifully simple!
"Are peaked roofs and A-frames the next big thing?"
When did they ever go "out of style"?
