We often like to look to the personal workspaces of artists and designers for inspiration for our own home. More often than not, there's always a few ideas to borrow from both the realm of organization and decoration. Pedro Alarcón Ramírez is an artist from Málaga, Spain, and his gorgeous space is an inspiring space filled with color, unique pieces of art, prints, all presented with a capable sense of how to incorporate technology into a home...Pedro's studio is characterized by a primarily neutral white space, contrasted with strategically placed bright color furnishing, art, and decorative elements, creating an environment where creativity reigns supreme. IKEA Vika Blecket tabletop ($99.99), complete with a built-in lightbox and some Vika Arthur easels ($30 each), with an integrated shelf for additional storage. The whole table can be set at an angle, allowing it to serve as an artist's table. A MacBook with a non-slip mat allows Pedro to still use a computer while working on the angled table.
There's a smaller workstation with a view on the terrace, an IKEA Jonas in white ($129). Here, a 24-inch iMac sits ontop, next to a printer and his Griffin AirCurve iPhone dock, serving as Pedro's main workstation.IKEA Besta, that matches the large print that he made that's modeled on the London Underground. It has been added onto an IKEA Enetri shelving unit.
