Name: Pedro (3)
Location: Cascais, Portugal
We are a bit nostalgic and love children's rooms with a vintage look, bright, colorful but not too “themey” and we wanted this space to reflect Pedro's character and heritage. Basically a room that would make our small Peter Pan dream, play and create his own magical world.
My husband and I both love traveling— we've lived abroad in China, France, Italy and Brazil for several years and we started collecting vintage toys, children's books and posters long before we decided to have a baby. The items were really for us…but Pedro has already inherited lots of vintage goods found all over the world and from our childhood.
In a fast-paced world full of computer games and digital toys we hope that Pedro gives life to and lives new adventures with our books and toys. And it’s not just a question of vintage being charming or trendy, it is much more than that. It is also a question of being sustainable, simple and creative: the values that we want to pass on to our boy.
