You are now free to move about the cabin: Bruce Campbell lives in the Oregon woods in a retired Boeing 727. Great Big Story took a tour of the aircraft-turned-living space— and when you remove all the seats, there's plenty of leg room.
While the space is quite utilitarian, it seems to suit Campbell just fine. He also shares that about three airplanes are retired each day, and when you look at those numbers, which makes us wonder if we shouldn't see more of them being used as housing. "They're incredibly strong, and they'll last practically forever," he adds.
