This may look like a pretty typical kid's bed, but there's something a bit different about it - a small design innovation that may make your life a bit easier and your child's sleep a bit more restful. Inspired by the European practice of skipping a top sheet, but with laundering efficiency in mind Emily Stinchcomb created PeeKoo Bedding Concepts - specialty duvet covers with zip-on/off top sheets.
Many children (and adults) are quite active sleepers and complain of getting their feet entangled in the sheets during the course of the night (often resulting in sheets tossed to the floor or scrunched up at the bottom of the bed). You could skip the top sheet altogether, but we all know that removing duvet covers is time-consuming and a pain in the neck. Having an easily detached top sheet attached to the duvet creates a smooth, comfortable arrangement for the sleeper and saves the laundress (usually mom) time on wash day.

i'm very intrigued. Great find. We only use a duvet cover and I do take it off and wash it and put it back on weekly. I wonder if I could create this myself with snaps maybe...

Mom's, this is a FABULOUS sleeping system! I am a grandmother who just bought a Peekoo duvet for my grandchildrens' bedroom at our house! It is so easy to just zip out the sheet from the duvet cover! The zipper is large so the sheet zips out in a second! Super way to keep the duvet clean and there are many cute fabric choices to coordinate with your child's room. My husband and I wish they were available for our king size bed; maybe someday. It's a brillant, fantastic concept!
Just purchased a full size Peekoo and my daughter is over the moon! It is so beautiful and the quality and construction are amazing! Worth every penny!
I LOVE this concept. What is not to love, a childs bedding concept that makes life easier for kids and moms AND is cute & stylish. I am getting one for my daughter who just moved into a big girl bed and for my son is trying so hard to make his own bed. I am also adding the entire Peekoo line to my own childrens boutique slection of fabulous kids bedding!
