We are constantly on the lookout for unique, inexpensive lighting, since changing a fixture is something we can do in our rental. Pendant lamps in particular can have almost as dramatic an effect as painting walls (which we cannot do, unfortunately).
These four lights have fun shapes that mimic upscale versions at not-so-upscale prices. We'd use these in a dressing area or over a breakfast nook for something fun.

OMG that chandelier! I have got to have one of those. It looks like you might be able to install it as part of a ceiling fan light kit, too!
I mean the colorful one...
I don't quite get the striped ones -- are they little striped cubes? I'd like to see what they look like in the string...
