Have you always wanted to display pictures of people effing above your dining room table, but couldn't figure out how to do it artfully? Well, strolling into local Brooklyn shop The Future Perfect recently, we were inspired by the newest expressions of designer Andrea Claire's creativity.
We first noticed Ms. Claire at Brooklyn Designs 2006, when we were wowed by pendant lighting which features shades with photographic interiors shining through their solid exteriors in the most ethereal way.
She's evolved beyond strictly pretty territory here to include images that are challenging, vulgar, or just not normally considered tasteful in decor. These include 70s erotica, airport hallways, and cattle on a dirt road, in addition to two striking nature scenes. Peep Andrea Claire's site for more info.
