Need art? HANG ART is the place to go.
You may recall seeing Jen Garrido's work in our House Tour, Heather's Hip Hideaway. She's one of the more than 70 Bay Area artists shown at HANG ART in Union Square.
HANG ART offers relatively low prices on high-quality art because they show under-exposed artists who have not yet built an extensive collector base.

You can even make sure that you love the art you choose before buying it -- HANG ART rents their paintings and sculpture. They will then apply 50% of the rental fees paid toward the purchase price. You can find more information about their rentals on the website.
HANG ART also hosts opening receptions for shows in their galleries, as well as collecting talks, artist panel discussions, and other public events.

HANG ART updates the inventory, and the availability of each work, on their website.

Checking their website, their prices are darn good - yay :)
Yay for Hang! My friend Ivy just got in there, and I am so happy for her. It's a great gallery.

This gallery is one of the things I miss most about San Francisco. I bought my first piece of original art from Hang. And my second piece from this gallery this morning. Online. (Fingers crossed.) At least I hope it's mine.
The gallery (and the Web site for that matter) is certainly worth a look if you've never seen it. Just wonderful.
