MintPass, the designers behind the brilliant Progress Bar Clock, are at it again with a radio design that could keep us entertained for hours...

Inspired by the unusual urge to collect radios from travels, the MintRadio was designed by Jongchul Kim to stand out from the crowd.

Featuring stereo horn speakers, a floodlit LED tuner display and a shiny white exterior, we'd already dig on this gadget.

But add in the unusual user controls—which MintPass describe as "extraordinarily inconvenient"—and we're sold on the design. Rather than pushing buttons or turning a knob, the channel tuner and volume on this radio unit are controlled by tugging on pendulums suspended inside the hollowed-out center.

Check out the concept page here at MintPass for more info and a better look at this gizmo.
