Lately, I have been absolutely enamored with plate clusters — especially colorful ones. Plate clusters can add instant, inexpensive dashes of color anywhere in the home, and look great on a large, blank wall.
We have written posts about plate clusters here on Apartment Therapy before, but my love affair has only just begun, so I thought I would share a few more that I found while planning my first plate cluster.

2. A clean, deliberate plate cluster with Scandinavian influence from Nuclear Candy.
3. Artist Lisa Congdon's colorful, kitchen cluster. View her entire home tour here.
4. A bright and bold plate cluster from the portfolio of Courtney Giles.
5. Kelly Wearstler's magnificent Viceroy Hotel masterpiece.
6. A sweet, homey plate wall by Mandy Douglass.
7. An elegant white plate cluster, plus a plate hanging tutorial at The Nester.

They look great.
How do you hang them?
apartmenttherapy does seem to have had a lot of "plates on the wall" posts of late......probably exciting if you like plates on your wall
@mrz check out #7 for a link to plate hanging tutorial
Wow you have to stay busy with dusting of all those plates. I like the look though.
Hooray Plate Walls! I love ours. It's in the bedroom (kinda unconventional) but I totally love it and drift off to sleep staring at it.
Here's how we did it. The Disc plate hangers worked great.

even though i never thought i'd be a 'plates on the wall' sort of gal, a few of those images are incredibly tempting to replicate.
also - kudos to Andie, this collection of color palettes was so nice, just something special about them.
I would love to make a "headboard" out of a plate display, but I live in earthquake country.
I have a plate cluster above my dinner table. It's so cute :)
