We've seen the shower curtain before, but now there's a new way to learn your periodic table, and it's on a slightly larger scale—like say an outdoor table. Details after the jump...
This massive undertaking is an accomplishment to be truly proud of and we're ridiculously jealous that we didn't think of it first. If you take a close look at the tiles on the tabletop, each one is a singular tile that has been repainted to coordinate with a periodic element. You can use ceramic paints found at your local craft store to get a similar look at home.
Maybe a bench and table set isn't what your home needs, but how cool would a periodic table backsplash in a bathroom be? Will all the science nerds in the house please stand up!

My 4yo will have a COW when he sees this! Told me last week he wants to "study the periodic table". What a perfect idea!
very very cool....
thelittlemonster, you have some little boy on your hands! to be curious about the periodic table as a pre-schooler is very very impressive!
I only understood it as a 14 year old....
Just a week shy of NCW, but close enough!
