let's go bubba's bed!!! mama needs a new dog bed...george is coming home with us, and he needs one of his own!
: )
what a fun contest!
Even though Dana's Kitchen Kitty Pooper is currently behind in the runnings (Go, Dana, Go!!), it's first place in my book! I borrowed the idea and think it's completely brilliant! A total lifesaver. Thanks!!
Who wants a cat pooping in the kitchen while you are eating and or cooking. Yuk!!!!!!
See a related discussion over at AT:NY today. Everybody poops! Get over it!
I think of my kitchen as more of a workspace than anything else; I rarely eat at the table, but I do most of my artwork there. So the kittybox doesn't bother me at all, and most guests don't even notice it.
And wait, Jessica wants her dog bed to win so she can... replace it with a new dog bed?
No! I am adopting another dog, George, a 75 pound rhodesian ridgeback who needs a good home. So, i need an additional beautiful dog bed for my new baby! I'm not being greedy, really!
Wow! That's a guinea pig cage? Oh my gosh it's beautiful. I've never seen such gorgeous woodwork. It's so unique. A real piece of art and first in my book!
Cat boxes belong in the bathroom or basement, dogs belong on the couch! COOL guinea pig cage!!
yoop! sorry jessica, all those horrid poop fumes in my kitchen have overcome me, and i've forgotten how to read.
congrats on the new pup! we used to have a ridgeback here in the office, and we *really* miss her.
I'm not sure about the cat box...is it one of those old-style laundry hampers laying on its side? That's a good idea to keep things out of the landfill. I got a pink laundry hamper like that from my grandpa but I haven't tried to have the catbox in it yet.
well, i think this was a fun contest. the catbox is a great way to hide the litterbox, and it was very creative in it's assembly. the guinea pig condo is quite obviously a great piece of carpentry, done in a style to go with the apartment. i don't think anyone can say that any of these ideas is not a great fix for their particular need.
if i don't win the dog bed, George will surely still get a bed of my own creation--i just thought that it could be good timing, and who doesn't want designer pet accoutremant (sp?)
so, great job bob and dana, and for all you haters, where's your entry!?
thanks to apartment therapy and george for giving me a platform to show off one of my early sewing adventures! cheers!
That Pig Condo is two thumbs up!!
Bob's condo rocks! So good to see something tasteful for guinea pigs. Helps to show they are not only pets for kids. Love the styling!!
Bob's condo is incredible! Such a beautiful design, and color. Love it!
Jessica's dog bed is fantastic! No longer will any dog have to lie on boring bedding!!!
GASP... My guinea pigs wished they had such fabulous wood to chew and nice bedding.
They are afraid you feel they are Kuntreee Kuzins and would just laugh at their garage sale bedding.
We envy you with a red hot envy blazing as the sun.
I loved bubba's bedding!
JESSICA, I REALLY HOPE YOU WIN!! IT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR A BIG DOG TO HAVE A BIG BED. YOUR DESIGN IS THE GREATEST.YOU DESERVE TO WIN. GO BUBBAS BEDDING!!!!!!!!
GO JESSICA, IT IS GREAT THAT YOU ARE GIVING A HOMELESS DOG A GREAT HOME. I THINK IT IS WONDERFUL THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO WIN THE BED FOR THAT DOG.
