This San Francisco condo isn't our normal cup of tea, but today the elegance and dark colors are really appealing to us. The homeowner enlisted the help of designer Georgina Rice in creating a "tiny jewel box" out of "a grim little box." The studio has a dressing room, soaking tub, crystal chandeliers, and walls painted such a dark green that they appear charcoal. Luxurious, yes -- but the surprise is that it's all in 500 square feet.
Small space solutions include built-in cabinets, a Murphy bed, hidden storage in the hallway, and small-scaled appliances.
