In addition to all the vintage goods available in the Apartment Therapy Classifieds, we occasionally see independent designers selling their new wares. We first noticed Petrified Design's Recycled Sign Record Cabinet (image 3) last week and since then we've dug in to find that they produce a lot of other great furniture as well…

Gable Bostic and Tyson Pendergrass are the men behind Petrified Design. Based in Austin, Texas, Bostin and Pendergrass create beautiful furniture from reclaimed materials. For instance, the rustic side chair in the first image is made from wood reclaimed from old wine barrels and the drafting table is made with longleaf pine taken from a small house built in 1857.
