Name: Philip (5 months) & guests & sometimes mom & dad
Location: Austin, TX
Division: Shared Room
Room Size: 100 square feet
Tip for Living Small with Kids: Keep colors and themes simple and classic. Look for furniture that pulls double duty... a changing table with clothing storage and a crib with a drawer beneath for storage.
Biggest Design Challenge in this Room: We rent so painting was not an option. We opted instead for an easy to use (and remove) vinyl wall mural.
Favorite Thing About This Room: I love the mural. It really makes the room pop. It echos the circles found on the bedding and it is a subtle nod to our loose ocean/water theme. I also enjoyed painting the whale art above the changing table. It is a piece that we will cherish forever.
Thanks for your entry Laura and good luck!

Beautiful design Laura!
I love it! Great job!
Lovely! Where did you get the bumper?
Thanks. The bedding is a mix from Dwell Target and Baby Star (that's where the bumper is from).
Also, thanks to Kristi Wright Photography http://www.kristiwrightphotography.com/ for these photos!
