Definitely not portable, but one of the more interesting iPod docks we have seen. Without using external power, the Phonophonic passively amplifies your music by placing the headphones into receptacles that then channel the sound into the horn...so technically it is more of an mp3 player dock.

The price is steep, likely due to the limited edition run, but for $875 you can get a maximum amplified sound volume equivalent to typical laptop speakers.
